Our roots run deep in the community

Westcott Trinity Garden Coalition was born from a deep understanding of the needs within Westcott–Trinity Garden. This vibrant Houston community, rich in history and resilience, has long faced challenges from decades of underinvestment. Local leaders, residents, and volunteers recognized recurring issues: seniors lacking support, neighbors experiencing homelessness without adequate services, and families struggling with economic and environmental pressures. We realized that true, lasting change demands a coordinated, community-driven effort, leading to the formation of our Coalition.

Who we serve: our community

Our mission is to uplift the residents of Westcott–Trinity Gardens, a historically underserved community in Northeast Houston. We concentrate our efforts on individuals and families facing significant barriers to stability. This includes our unhoused neighbors, seniors needing support to age in place, low-income households navigating housing insecurity, and families impacted by neighborhood disinvestment and environmental stressors. We strive to provide stability, connection, and essential community-based support.

Our unique approach to community uplift

What sets the Westcott Trinity Garden Coalition apart is our deeply rooted community presence and integrated approach. We provide rapid, person-centered responses, ensuring support is tailored to individual needs. Our focus remains steadfast on historically underserved neighborhoods, addressing the specific challenges they face. Above all, we are committed to long-term stability, weaving together homelessness response, senior support, and neighborhood stability into a comprehensive framework that fosters lasting change.
